    The whole SMUN 2011 delegation is now back on Swedish soil, after five fantastic days in The Netherlands, and will continue with the preparations for a remarkable conference taking place in November 10-13, 2011.

  • The Committees are now official

    SMUN 2010 will consist of three UN Committees dealing with different aspects of the Scenario:

    • The Security Council
    • The Economic and Social Council, and
    • The Human Rights Council.

    Country and Committee assignments will be announced during week 41, which means that delegates will have about a month to prepare before the conference begins.

  • Admission decisions have been sent out

    We have now sent out admission decisions to all of our applicants this year. As it was stated in the emails, we had a very large number of applicants this year and therefore, the process of selecting delegates took a little longer than expected. We apologize for this!

    The official patron of Stockholm Model United Nations, Ambassador Jan Eliasson, was until 2008 the UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy to Darfur. He is also former President of the UN General Assembly and former Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden.
