As an area of unremitting global interest and as the subject of vigorous daily political debate, Afghanistan with its surrounding region has been selected as the common denominator of the topics of discussion for the conference.

Jan Eliasson: Patron of SMUN

He is former President of the UN General Assembly and former Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden. He was keynote speaker at the opening ceremony of the 2006 SMUN Conference.

    We are now recruiting new members to build the Host Team that will arrange Stockholm Model United Nations 2010. If you are passionate about MUN’s and want to join the great fun (and hard work!) of arranging the largest MUN conference in Sweden you should apply to the Host Team. Apply and be a part of the most exciting project for university students in Sweden!
